First impressions
For my very first blog, I'm gonna be talking about my first impressions of college. First off, I would like to start by saying that summer was great while it lasted. It was a little weird watching everyone in high school start going to school because I wasn't starting school yet. My first day of college was fun. It was a little tough waking up for my 8 a.m. class but since I used to wake up everyday at 5:30 because I used to have workouts for basketball, it was pretty easy for me to adjust back to waking up early. After my 8 a.m. class I have a 3 hour break because my next class isn't until 12 p.m. During my 3 hour break, I met up with my friends that we're at school and we all hung out in the student lounge for an hour. After my friends all left to their 9 a.m. class, I drove to Jamba Juice to grab a bite to eat and a smoothie. I came back to school for my 12 p.m. class which is my history class. After, I went to my friends house because we both have our math class at 6 p.m. We ate food and relaxed until 5:30 p.m. then we both left to go to class. Our math class is an hour and 50 minutes so it feels like an eternity. After our math class, I dropped my friend off at home and I went home. I showered and ate then started my homework. It was a relief because I didn't have class the next day until 6 p.m. That is how my schedule looks on monday's, wednesday's, and friday's. Thank you for tuning on this week's blog. Make sure to check out my next blog next week!
I completely agree that it was weird seeing all the high school students starting while my summer was only half way over. It definitely did not make me miss it! I also have an 8am class on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, but the transition for me wasn't easy. It was actually quite difficult. I would wake up at 7 when I was in high school because I lived so close and wouldn't have a problem finding a parking spot. Now I have to wake up at 6 and leave earlier in order to get to school early enough to find a parking spot and avoid traffic. I also have long gaps in between classes and I usually do something similar. I go to the warrior grill and then the game lounge with my friends to pass time.
