Money Money Problems

Hey guys welcome back to another blog! Tonight I will be talking about my student loans and financial aid. Personally, FAFSA isn’t covering my whole tuition fee, and since my parents can’t afford to pay for my school, I have to take out student loans from the government. This semester I took out a loan of $3500 to pay for my tuition fee. With this amount of money, it doesn’t cover my gas fee, meals, and books. I have to pay for my own gas to commute to school which costs me around $30 a week. I also have to pay for my own food which varies in prices depending on what I want to eat or whether I want to eat out or eat at home. Books are also another expensive thing that I need to pay for myself. All of my books from all of my classes costed me around $250. I have a theatre class that requires us to buy our own tickets which is gonna cost me around $200 for the whole semester to go watch 9 plays. Being a college student is no joke. My advice for the younger people is to get good grades and apply for scholarships to try to get your whole college tuition paid off because college is EXPENSIVE. Not having a job plays a big factor into my financial problems because I depend on my parents to pay for most of my stuff. Of course, I don’t want them to pay for everything so every money that I get I give to my mom and Dad to pay them back for everything that they do for me. I also do chores here and there for my grandma because she pays me. For example, I maw her front lawn every week and she gives me $20 for 15 minutes of my service. Every chance that I can get money I have to take it in order to pay my parents back. I also need to save money because I have a girlfriend and being in a relationship is EXPENSIVE. My girlfriend and I are always eating out which can be really expensive. My advice for all you youngins is to stay in school, get good grades, do your FAFSA applications, and also apply for scholarships. Thank you for turning into tonight blog!
